The Phytopod Hydro turns a "kitchen garden" into a new household appliance-- your very own personal indoor garden! Why keep your produce in a plastic bag in the bottom of a dark refrigerator when you can grow and keep plants alive, beautiful and part of your household decor? Your Phytopod will look, smell, and taste great while immersing you in the Zen of tending a garden!

The modular Phytopod-2 Hydro unit is our medium-sized floor-standing model, standing about 40 inches tall. You can grow lots of your favorite herbs, salad greens, and other vegetables indoors or on your patio! You place the plants directly in the side of the Phytopod using the wire mesh grid as a guide to proper spacing. Place the Phytopod in your sunniest window or buy some indoor supplementary lighting, and you can start harvesting fresh greens in as little as 4-6 weeks. The Phytopod-2 can accommodate 30-60 plants-- lettuce, spinach, arugula, basil, chives, strawberry, kale, flowers -- almost anything you would grow in a regular garden can be grown on your Phytopod!

HOW IT WORKS: This free-standing planter has a 12-inch diameter planting module (that gives you 9 square feet to plant on!). The base of the unit is a reservoir of nutrient solution that gets circulated directly to the roots of your plants by an electric pump. To get started, just plug in the pump and timer, fill the reservoir, and PRESTO-- you are ready to start planting your very own vertical hydroponic garden!
